Douche Hall of Fame

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Barack/Michelle Obama not in the Douche Hall of Fame?

Early on in the DHoF, Pat and Stu decided that the President and First Lady as well as the Vice-President are not eligible for the Hall while in office. All 3 will be eligible shortly after 12 Noon Eastern on January 20, 2017 (Since the inauguration is on a Friday, the DHoF vote(s) will likely not happen before Monday, January 23, 2017).

As expected, Barack Obama was voted into the Douche Hall of Fame on January 23, 2017. No word if they will return to induct Michelle Obama and Joe Biden (or for that matter, the frequently discussed former Secretary of State John Kerry) for induction at a future date, since the "relevence clause" would lead the observer to believe that they are no longer relevent.

Why is Hillary Clinton not in the Douche Hall of Fame?

It has been discussed frequently during the 2016 election campaigns about holding a vote to place her into the Douche Hall of Fame, but Pat, Stu and Jeffy have generally held out holding the vote until the November election. During the 2nd hour of the August 9, 2016 show, Stu proposed holding a vote for her on Monday, November 7th, the day before the election.

True to his word, on Monday, November 7, 2016, the Feed had many times more in attendance as the vote was held shortly after 1pm Eastern. The result was that Hillary Clinton became the 27th inductee, and the 4th woman to be inducted into the Douche Hall of Fame by a vote of 98%-2% (Soon thereafter, all sorts of theories were tossed out about the 2% and why she was not the first 100% inductee).

Are there any "urban legends" about the Douche Hall of Fame?

Yes. If you see the plaques in person, the name plate for Maxine Waters was not attached by Stu correctly, leaving it with a noticeable tilt. Both Pat and Stu have commented on this, with Stu calling it their "crack in the 'Liberty Bell'"

Also, John Roberts and Debbie Wasserman Schultz were both inducted within weeks of each other. When it came time to apply their name plates, the plates were added in the wrong order, so the plaque shows Debbie Wasserman Schultz before John Roberts, although Roberts was voted in first.

What are "Emergency Inductions"?

Emergency Inductions are used when a person has done something so egregiously over the top that the need to present a large case of evidence is not needed, and the vote is done so soon after the event in question. To date, there have been two such events:

  • Chief Justice John Roberts was inducted by emergency vote on June 28, 2012, in response of his siding with the liberals on the Supreme Court declaring the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) Constitutional.
  • Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi was put up for a vote on June 26, 2014, after reports of his being behind improper (and possibly illegal) voting during the runoff with Chris McDaniel

In addition, the selection of Jesse Ventura as the inaugural "The Grand Nozzle" could be considered an emergency vote, in response to his victory over the Chris Kyle estate in a defamation lawsuit (even though the courts ultimately threw out the verdict)
